FY22 Fringe Benefit Rates

The Office of Budget and Planning is pleased to announce a new rate agreement with Health and Human Services (HHS) for the recovery of fringe benefit costs charged to sponsored grants and contracts. The new rates are effective from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022.
The rates are as follows:
Restricted Full Time 26.5%
Mandated 8.0%
Post Doc 20.3%
Faculty Summer Supplement 16.5%
The above fringe benefit rates and the latest HHS Rate Agreement will soon be updated and available on Finance & Planning's website.
