TO: Only Faculty, All campuses

FROM: Center for the Enhancement of Learning & Teaching

A few more spots open – Apply by Monday, March 26, 2018

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the Fall 2018 CELT Faculty Fellows Seminar, offered through the Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT).  Since its inception in 2006, 140 Tufts faculty have participated in this program.

The intent of the CELT Fellows program is to create a learning community where faculty can reflect on effective teaching to enhance learning, and share insights and best practices from their teaching through conversation and teaching observation. This is a unique opportunity for Tufts faculty to increase their knowledge about student learning and to enhance their teaching skills. The interdisciplinary collegial relationships built during the seminar last beyond the program.

To apply to become a CELT Faculty Fellow, please fill out the online form on the CELT website by Monday, March 26, 2018. If you have any questions, you can email Annie Soisson

Applicants will be notified by early April. There is a small stipend for participating in the Seminar and we can only accept twelve applicants each year. We attempt to enroll faculty from all of the Tufts campuses to enrich the interdisciplinary experience.

For all accepted applicants, there will be an introductory meeting on Wednesday, April 11th from 10:30pm – 12:00pm.

The Fall 2018 Seminar meetings will take place on the following Thursdays from 8:45am - 11:45am at CELT, 108 Bromfield Road, Somerville (Medford Campus):

  • September 13, 20, & 27
  • October 4  & 11
  • November 1, 8, & 15
  • Dec 6 (possible snow/makeup date)
