In an effort to improve pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular safety conditions at the Boston and College Avenue intersection, Tufts (in cooperation with the City of Medford) is making improvements to the intersection this summer.

Construction will continue along the west sidewalk (Campus Hill Side) of the intersection through Monday, August 7 at which point the sidewalk will be complete and reopened for pedestrian traffic.

Please note that milling of the intersection roadway will take place on Wednesday, August 2 and Thursday, August 3 during regular working hours. Re-paving of the intersection roadway will take place on the night of Friday, August 4 (8:00pm-5:00am). Following the re-paving, the line striping work will take place at night (8:00pm-5:00am) Monday, August 7 through Friday, August 18. This schedule of roadway activities is weather permitting and there may be slight variations in construction activities as needed.  We apologize for any inconvenience during this crucial phase of construction.
