As the University approaches one of its busiest seasons, Commencement, our Facilities Services Events team is starting to see a significant increase in indoor and outdoor requested events compared to previous years.  To accurately process the requests and effectively manage the logistics of the events, especially since many require multiple work orders, we are asking all departments for assistance in properly pre-planning your event(s). 

Effective immediately, any new set-up or change to an event set-up will not be accepted with less than 3-business days advance notice.  It is our goal to always provide excellence in customer service, however, the continuous impact of last minute requests and changes results in scheduling conflicts, errors and omissions of requests.  This is a busy time of year for everyone and to ensure that your event is a success, we need your cooperation.  Thank you for your attention and understanding.

In a significant emergency the university will attempt to communicate with the community through a variety of methods. Use of the latest available technology provides us with several ways to reach community members through public postings, information hotlines, and an emergency alert system integrating telephone, text messaging and email.
