As we embark on a new academic year, Facility Services would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone of the event planning practices that help make sure we all have a successful year of events at Tufts. Our goal is to ensure that event planning be as stress free as possible. With that said, Facilities Services' Events Team has seen a significant increase in indoor and outdoor events compared to previous years. Because of the rise in events, a two to three week lead-time is required to properly prepare for a successful event. This time is necessary to accurately process event requests and effectively manage the logistics of renting equipment, tents and permits that are required in the event planning process. Please be advised that we will not accept any new request for event set-up or change to an event with less than 72 hours advance notice. It is our goal to provide excellence in customer service. Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
