FROM: Learning Spaces Working Group

Twenty classrooms in Anderson, Cabot, Halligan, Paige, SciTech, SoGo, and Tisch Library have been recommended for upgrades in the summers of 2017 and 2018.  Input is needed from the Tufts community in order for the design team to develop a package of strategic upgrades for each of these classrooms.  We hope you will take the online survey or join some of the work sessions next week with the design team. ICON, an architecture firm with deep experience in classroom design, will listen to the work session participants and share their ideas for possible upgrades to better achieve teaching needs. The schedule for the work sessions is the following:

Tuesday, November 29th

  • Topic: Sophia Gordon room E-100
  • Location Details: SoGo Multipurpose room, 12:00-1:00PM, food served


  • Topic: Anderson Hall rooms 206, 208, 306, and 309
  • Location Details: 520 Boston Ave large conference room, 12:00-1:00PM


  • Topic: SciTech (4 Colby) rooms 134, 135, and 136
  • Location Details: SciTech room 132, 3:30-5:00PM


Wednesday, November 30th

  • Topic: Cabot Center rooms 102, 107, and 108B (Fletcher students)

Thursday, December 1st
