Tufts University faculty and staff are invited to take part in a survey to evaluate employee awareness of emergency response procedures, and provide input into the Department of Public & Environmental Safety Strategic Plan: http://emergency.tufts.edu/survey/
This survey, planned for weeks, now falls on the heels of a series of tragic and horrifying events affecting Boston. Your participation in the survey is vital to enhancing Tufts' preparedness for emergencies and disasters, and I hope you'll take the time to respond. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.>
As a way of thanking you for your time, six survey participants will be randomly selected to receive a $100 Amazon.com gift certificate; selected winners will be given the option of confidentially choosing to have a $100 donation made to The One Fund Boston in lieu of the gift certificate.
In addition to informing the department's strategic planning, this survey is being undertaken as part of a US Department of Education grant to increase emergency preparedness at Tufts University. You can read more about the grant at http://emergency.tufts.edu/about/emhe-grant-program/.
Tufts Emergency Alert System
In an emergency the university will attempt to communicate with the community through a variety of methods. Use of the latest available technology provides us with several ways to reach community members through public postings, information hotlines, and an Emergency Alert System integrating telephone, text messaging and email.
