Status Update on the Medford/Somerville Campus – February 10, 2013 – 11

- While the Medford/Somerville campus remains officially closed today, Sunday, the Tisch Library and Mayer Campus Center will open today at noon, and the Tisch Sports and Fitness Center will open at 11:00 am to provide study space and recreation for students.University personnel are now working to remove snow from the sidewalks and entrances to buildings. Please avoid areas being cleared so that staff can remove snow safely and efficiently. We very much appreciate your cooperation.The University will be open for normal business operations on Monday, February 11.Please note availability of the following services on the Medford/Somerville campus:Dining Services:Carmichael opens at 8:00 am; Dewick opens at 11:00 am. Both Carmichael and Dewick will be open until 9:00 pm on Sunday. All other locations will be CLOSED. Dining Services is planning on resuming regular hours in all locations on Monday. For the latest updates on dining services, visit http://dining.tufts.edu or follow @TuftsDining.Parking & Transportation:The Snow Emergency Parking Ban has been extended until Monday morning at 8:00 am. This ban will prohibit parking on all university roadways as well as staff/faculty parking lots. On the Medford/Somerville campus, students with a current green Resident or red Commuter decal are encouraged to park in the Lower Campus Garage or the Dowling Garage (if you don't have a garage card your Tufts ID will work for this weekend only).MBTA service remains suspended. University shuttle buses (Davis Square, Boston Avenue & NEC/Museum School) remain suspended; service will resume when it is safe to do so.For a police, fire or medical emergency dial 617-627-6911.
