Change in Mileage Reimbursement Rate

- Effective January 1, 2013, the Tufts mileage rate is .565 per mile. The rate is determined based on pronouncements from the Internal Revenue Service and the Treasury Department. The rate is intended to cover the cost of operating a personal vehicle for business purposes, and as such, is formulated to take into account the estimated price of gas, automobile insurance and wear-and-tear.
For expense reports prior to 1/1/13, please use the previous rate of .555/mile.
Tufts Emergency Alert System
In an emergency the university will attempt to communicate with the community through a variety of methods. Use of the latest available technology provides us with several ways to reach community members through public postings, information hotlines, and an Emergency Alert System integrating telephone, text messaging and email.
