On December 10, 2012, the Office of the Provost announced the request for applications for competitive seed grants for activities during the 2013-2014 academic year through Tufts Collaborates! and Tufts Innovates!
The deadline for proposal submissions is Friday, February 8, 2013.
An important component of a Tufts Innovates submission will be the proposed assessment plan for the project and therefore, the Innovates Guidelines require the principal investigator attend an assessment workshop. The Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) will be conducting an assessment plan workshop for prospective Tufts Innovates applicants on Thursday, January 17, 2013, 2-4:30, location to be determined. Please contact Hyosun Lee at Hyosun.Lee@tufts.edu or 7-4733 to reserve a place at the workshop.
Tufts Innovates! Creative Teaching and Learning: Grants will be overseen by the office of Associate Provost Mary Lee. Inquiries may be directed to Beth Knauss, Program Administrator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tufts Collaborates! Interdisciplinary Scholarship and Research: Grants will be overseen by the Office of the Vice Provost of Research. Tufts Emergency Alert System
In an emergency the university will attempt to communicate with the community through a variety of methods. Use of the latest available technology provides us with several ways to reach community members through public postings, information hotlines, and an Emergency Alert System integrating telephone, text messaging and email.
