Dear Tufts Faculty and Staff,

This is a call for nominations for the 14th Annual Office for Campus Life Developing Leaders Conference to be held on March 2, 2013. "Developing Leaders" are current first year students and sophomores who have exhibited leadership potential through their involvement and contributions to the Tufts Community. Examples of leadership potential are:

  • Engages classmates in discussions during class;
  • Takes charge at his or her student job;
  • Leads or is capable of leading a student group/club; or
  • Contributes his or her time to the community or advances social agendas.

The conference will be centered on challenging these students to see leadership as something beyond a category on their resume. Through the conference schedule we hope to encourage students to see the tangible skills they are acquiring through their leadership positions and roles on campus and how those skills are applicable to life after Tufts.

To nominate:

  • Please send an e-mail to OCL@tufts.edu.
  • Please use the subject line: "DLC Nomination"
  • In the body of the email, please state the student's name and class year. If you do not want the person to know you nominated him or her, please indicate that you would like to remain anonymous.
  • If you would like to nominate more than one person at this time, please list the names at the top of the e-mail

The deadline for nominations is Friday, January 25th, 2013.

Thank you,

Lauren D'Abrosca & Amanda Miles
